Digital solutions, processes and services will play an essential role in our future business. This is why we founded BASF 4.0. We report to the CEO and the project head is our chief digital officer. We are driven by organizational elements such as interdisciplinary teams and agile collaboration. Our activities are in manufacturing, innovation and technology, supply chain, IT, HR and Data-to-Value. As Product Manager Data Monetization (m/f) you will drive the creation of applications together with Data Stewards from respective units and business contacts. You will be supported by a DevOps organization and a network of third party developers as well as an experienced group of data analysts.
You will organize workshops with customers and strive for market feedback for the monetization of data and how to provide new data services to our customers.
To create data-driven offerings you will develop an external and internal network with providers, customers and business stakeholders.
You will steer agile execution of projects to create new applications for our customers and business units for data-driven offerings.
You will drive necessary organizational changes in business units and train our employees in Data-to-Value principles and application rules.
What we expect
You have a strong business background and results-driven mindset.
You will be the creative mind and inspire internal stakeholders how to quickly achieve results.
You have a background in e-commerce and/or digital marketing and you are familiar with typical KPIs to measure value/success of applications.
In previous positions, you worked closely together with software developers to create data-driven solutions and ideally, you gained startup experience.
In the daily business, you complement your excellent communication skills with an outstanding knowledge of the English language.
You enjoy working in an agile environment and applying agile toolsets according to Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc. and ideally, you have a certification in agile methods, e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner/Scrum Master/Developer or related.
