What you can expect

The Backend team is responsible for the development and production of our infrared sensor products. We are looking for you to work with our colleagues and customers to ensure the quality of our products, continuously improve processes and drive innovative developments.

  • In close cooperation with colleagues from production and sales, you will look after existing products in the field of IR sensor technology from a technical perspective.

  • For new developments, you will coordinate a smooth transition from prototype to series product together with our development teams and will also be responsible for the technical documentation.

  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent product characteristics and identifying changes to critical product parameters at an early stage, to which you will then respond with countermeasures.

  • Product requirements, processes and materials used are coordinated with the help of your technical expertise.

  • Last but not least, you will support product management in the long-term planning and introduction of new product lines.

What we expect

  • University degree in the field of natural sciences or engineering

  • several years of professional experience in product development and support in the field of electronics, sensor technology or optoelectronics

  • business fluent knowledge of the German and English language

  • experience in the area of requirements management and in quality assurance as well as knowledge in the consolidation and statistical evaluation of measurement and process data

  • experience in semiconductor production with focus on optoelectronics is desirable
