What you can expect

We are looking for a candidate to join us as soon as possible in the position of Project Manager, Digitalization and Automation (m/f), within the Functional Support Analytics and Digitalization group. In this role, you will be part of the Material Physics & Analytics Research unit, which combines analysis, physical sciences, formulation research and high throughput technologies as well as digitalization at the highest level.

  • Within the unit, you will advance the automation of processes in our labs.

  • You will manage projects for the development and establishment of new methods of automation.

  • In the process, you will utilize and expand your contacts with operational units and with internal and external scientific and research partners.

  • You will also observe and evaluate trends and developments in your field of work.

What we expect

  • You have a doctorate in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or physics, on which you earned above-average marks.

  • You already have professional and project experience in the areas of research and development.

  • You have in-depth subject-specific and user skills in the use and development of IT systems and in automation.

  • You are also impressive for your ability to develop and implement solution strategies actively.

  • A high level of determination and orientation toward goals, teamwork skills and communication skills complete your profile.
