What you can expect
The Particle Formulation and Handling group possesses expertise in conveying, storing, dosing and solids separation as well as the associated characterization methods. Through advising as well as development and design, the unit realizes production processes and is available as a point of contact across all phases involved in the handling of solids and dust separation.
In the position of Research Engineer, you will work on and manage complex projects independently and will propose possibilities for optimization.
To this end, you will clarify not only the overall technical and economic conditions, but also compliance with statutory provisions, in cooperation with the project team.
You will design or redesign machines and apparatuses for steps involved in the handling of solids as well as separation of dust and aerosols and will be responsible for the optimization and troubleshooting of existing processes.
You will also work on projects with a focus on dust and aerosol measurement technology.
To successfully reach your project goals, you will build yourself a network with operational units in the fields of research and development, engineering and production and with partners in the scientific and research community.
What we expect
You have a degree in process engineering or chemical engineering, in which you earned above-average marks, and have gone on to earn a doctorate.
You have several years of professional experience in research and development, production, technology or engineering and have experience managing projects.
You have excellent knowledge and skills in the area of handling of solids and aerosol separation.
Your working style is characterized by highly developed communication and cooperation skills in your own discipline and with other units.
