What you can expect

In our Process Research and Chemical Engineering research unit, you will elaborate new developments in the fields of energy storage and energy conversion as well as electronics.

  • More specifically, you will develop new inorganic materials as the building blocks for new innovations. You will also develop structure-effect relationships for inorganic solid state and nanomaterials.

  • In addition, you will derive research strategies from the said developments.

  • You will develop processes for inorganic materials and transfer these to the production scale.

  • You will use and further develop modern methods in the characterization of solid state materials and their microstructures as well as inorganic nanoparticles.

  • You will oversee international collaborative research and will work together with partners from the fields of research, marketing and production intensively.

What we expect

  • You have successfully completed university studies in chemistry, material science or a similar course of study with above-average results as a doctorate.

  • You communicate in English on a daily basis and are well versed in the current standard software.

  • You are quick to grasp new concepts and gladly take on new challenges.
