What you can expect

Join our Materials Process Modeling unit which is an integral component of the largest R&D community in the chemical industry and has expertise in model-supported process and product development as well as its optimization.

  • As part of the innovation process, you will initiate and process research projects in modeling and simulation of material properties.

  • You will validate and parameterize material models and determine structure-property relationships on that basis.

  • To achieve the challenging project goals, you will work together with colleagues from process and product development as well as the operational units in interdisciplinary and intercultural research teams.

  • Contact with operational units, research groups and universities worldwide will complete your network.

What we expect

  • You have a doctorate (PhD) in mechanical engineering, process engineering or physics with a focus on structural mechanics and materials science, on which you earned above-average results, or you acquired comparable professional experience.

  • You combine a passion for innovation with solid skills and knowledge in micromechanics modeling, ideally in the field of 3d printing.

  • You also have practical experience with FEM simulations and solid programming skills.

  • Personally, you are distinguished by your targeted and clear communication style which allows you to convey even complex matters in an understandable manner.
