The Global Engineering Services Division is responsible for the implementation of BASF's plant construction projects. We advise and support the various corporate divisions by providing expert services throughout the plant's life cycle, such as automation, process or mechanical engineering. We push forward innovations in all areas of the chemical industry - and turn laboratory developments into worldwide production plants.
What you can expect
Our unit is responsible for the construction management of Large Capital Projects (LCP) in the Europe region.
You will be responsible for the functional, on-time and on-budget planning and execution of very large, complex projects or contracts at the Ludwigshafen site and, if necessary, worldwide.
In addition, you will be responsible for the technical management of project or technical teams as well as the control and supervision of contractors.
You will actively contribute to a good cooperation with our customers, other project participants and suppliers.
You will ensure the further development of the assembly processes and coordinate all assembly activities including the coordination of plant, construction and assembly concepts as well as technical specifications.
Furthermore, you will adapt the service portfolio to market requirements and further develop processes, tools and technologies.
Last but not least, you will ensure the contractual execution and quality of the services in compliance with the quality, safety, health, environment and information (QSGUI).
