The European Site & Verbund Management is continuously developing BASF's large European sites, thereby ensuring their competitiveness: We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operating services and logistics with production at each site. In addition, we advise the companies in all respects relating to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety and regulatory approval.
What you can expect
The environmental analysis unit is part of the environmental monitoring organization at the Ludwigshafen site. Our methods range from determining cumulative parameters to capturing information on traces of individual substances.
In this role, you will assume responsibility for managing 12 employees in subject-specific terms and will also be responsible for organizing the HPLC(MS) lab, including sample management.
Your duties will involve monitoring the site from an environmental analysis standpoint with a focus on wastewater and air.
With your analytical expertise, you will contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of your lab as well as the online monitoring of wastewater.
You will organize the analytical processing of disrupting events within your lab and will maintain close contact with your partners in the process.
You will assume responsibility for quality management according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
In addition, you will stand in for the group management.
What we expect
