The Process Research and Chemical Engineering Research Division brings together a variety of competencies, including inorganic chemistry, organic synthesis, battery research, catalysis, process development and technology, as well as technical services for laboratories/technical centers. In interdisciplinary global teams, we develop innovative products, processes and technologies for a sustainable future and work with internal and external customers.
What you can expect
In our research department Process Catalysis R&D we
develop new catalytic materials as well as technologies to optimize existing heterogeneous catalysts for industrial scale processes.
As Senior Labteamleader you lead the scale-up of novel catalysts and support the implementation of new catalyst manufacturing technologies.
You work closely with the key stakeholders in manufacturing, research, process technology and product marketing.
Furthermore, you are the point of contact in the catalyst R&D community for selected manufacturing technologies of heterogeneous catalysts.
As technical advisor, you support the catalyst manufacturing organization in troubleshooting and asset optimization.
What we expect
PhD or Master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
Knowledge in catalyst or solid inorganics synthesis
At least five years of work experience in a relevant field
Specific knowledge in catalyst scale up is a plus
Proven track record of managing projects
Very good English and good German language skills
