What you can expect

The Battery Materials Competency Center is driving strategic and innovative engineering measures for the Catalysts division in the Battery Materials Industry for developments into worldwide production plants.

  • Your main responsibility is the timely, functional and cost-effective planning of machines and static equipment from specification to execution.

  • Furthermore, you monitor progress and quality of your assigned equipment, manage interfaces with external parties and conduct manufacturing control activities at supplier workshops.

  • You coordinate construction and commissioning activities with your suppliers at the installation site.

  • You will continuously identify potential for optimization and improvement and will be responsible for implementation, discipline knowledge transfer within the Battery Projects.

What we expect

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Several years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering for various types of equipment

  • Experience with the coordination of engineering activities, consulting of internal costumers and interface management with external parties

  • Profound communication behavior and collaborative skills in interdisciplinary and international teams

  • Excellent German and English language skills

  • Entrepreneurial action, the constant desire to drive innovation and out of the box thinking

  • Willingness to travel
