The Global Engineering Services Division is responsible for the implementation of BASF's plant construction projects. We advise and support the various corporate divisions by providing expert services throughout the plant's life cycle, such as automation, process or mechanical engineering. We push forward innovations in all areas of the chemical industry - and turn laboratory developments into worldwide production plants.
What you can expect
Our Project Planning unit Large Capital Projects assists various divisions in implementing investment projects. We are a part of the process from concept development through to realization.
You will plan and handle major projects through to completion, in accordance with functions, on time and on budget.
You will provide subject-specific support for personnel selection and employee development.
In the process, you will support the project handling strategy, coordinate both those involved in the project and suppliers and develop the conceptual plans.
You will monitor our contractors and ensure that our projects are handled through to completion on time and on budget.
What we expect
Degree in process engineering or chemical engineering
Professional experience in project planning of plants and knowledge in process and plant engineering
Knowledge in project management
Strong communication and interaction skills
Consideration of ecological and economic aspects in your actions
Good knowledge of German and English to communicate within the international community
