What you can expect
Within the Imaging unit, we develop unique algorithms that, in combination with light projectors and CMOS-based camera systems, make it possible to simultaneously capture depth information and material properties in imaging form. Merging image data, depth information and material parameters with a camera system unlocks the next generation of machine vision.
In your role as a highly motivated software engineer, you will assist our team in taking robotic applications and biometric data collection in mobile applications to the next level.
To this end, you will transition algorithmic drafts into functional and high-performance C++ codes and integrate new modules into our computer vision framework.
In addition, you will define interfaces and coordinate the detailed concepts with the relevant units.
You will actively participate in work on innovation topics and will conceptualize and implement methods drawn from computer vision. In the process, you will play a key role in the further development of the software architecture.
What we expect
You have a master's or diploma degree in computer science, information technology or in a comparable discipline and have several years of professional experience in software development.
In addition, you have excellent knowledge relating to C++ and good skills regarding OpenGL as well as OpenCV.
Version administration systems (e.g. git, SVN) and frameworks for unit tests (e.g. catch, googletest) are also familiar to you.
Beyond that, you are familiar with documentation tools (e.g. Doxygen) as well as with development processes (e.g. scrum) and have experience working with build systems and design patterns.
You have already created software architectures and debugged complex software systems while being familiar with cross-platform software development with Windows, Android or Linux.
If you also enjoy working as part of a team to achieve shared successes and can communicate complex matters in an understandable way in German and English, we look forward to receiving your application!
An attractive competitive salary that is based on the company's success and your individual performance.
Flexible work arrangements so that you can balance your working life and private life.
