What you can expect
Our Supply Chain Acquisitions and Divestments unit manages and supports merger, acquisition and divestment projects as well as the investment decisions from a functional Supply Chain perspective, by collaborating globally with business unit Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Shared Service Organizations and Site Logistic Operations.
You will be responsible to prepare Supply Chain reports and represent supply chain and logistics in the process before signing in Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestment projects in alignment with business unit strategies.
You will assess the functional supply chain components of business models and support the conceptual design of distribution, customs and foreign trade models in the early decision making for investments.
In addition, during post-signing activities, you will provide supply chain and logistics expertise and experience and lead the supply chain work if required.
In the course of these activities, topics such as organizational design, master data, cut-over plans, transfer of assets as well as development of process models and communication with cross-functional stakeholders will be part of your routine.
What we expect
You have a degree in Industrial or business engineering or business administration and have already gained several years of professional experience in the supply chain and logistics field.
In addition, you have several years of experience in project management, consulting methods, moderation and change management.
Through your previous activities, you have acquired knowledge in supply chain management, materials planning, foreign trade and supply chain operations.
You are a proficient user of the standard MS Office products and of SAP (BW, APO,R/3) and similar databases.
You use your excellent communication skills effectively in English while keeping the interests and concerns of customers in mind at all times.
