What you can expect

The trinamiX sensor system consists of CMOS-camera, laser projector and additional light sources. These components have to be connected mechanically, synchronized on an electronic level and the camera data has to be passed on to the image processing hardware. Qualcomm developer boards (Snapdragon SoCs) or NVIDIA Jetson systems, among others, are used for this hardware.

  • You will be responsible for translating design concepts into sensor hardware.

  • In addition, your responsibilities will include system mechanics, electronic circuitry and firmware for prototype development.

  • Here you will work closely with our hardware design manager, supply chain, optoelectronics and mechanics.

  • For firmware development, you will coordinate external partners as needed.

What we expect

  • Completed bachelor's degree in engineering in the field of electrical engineering or computer science

  • Several years of professional experience in the field of mechanical design and knowledge of electronic circuits (including high-speed design)

  • Experience in firmware customization in the area of embedded systems

  • Basic knowledge in programming (C/ C++/ Python) and ideally experience with CMOS imagers as well as laser drivers

  • Good communication skills in German or English

  • Creative thinking and the willingness as well as the ability to learn quickly, to familiarize yourself with new concepts and technologies and to successfully drive topics forward
