The Engineering & Technical Expertise Division is responsible for the implementation of BASF's plant construction projects. We advise and support the various corporate divisions by providing expert services throughout the plant's life cycle, such as automation, process or mechanical engineering. We push forward innovations in all areas of the chemical industry - and turn laboratory developments into worldwide production plants.

The TOP START program, which has an international focus, will provide you with targeted preparation for a future leadership role within BASF right from the start by giving you an opportunity to take on projects and tasks with enthusiasm and on your own responsibility. Help us shape the companys future!
In this three-year program, you will get to know three to four different areas. An international assignment will also give you a chance to expend your intercultural experience.
You will gain valuable project experience, get to know different divisions and promote cross-unit dialogue with your colleagues right from the first day.
You will receive exclusive development offers and will be supported and supervised by an experienced manager as a mentor on your career path.

What we expect
Successful candidates will be committed, dedicated and open leaders with a conscientious working style.
You have a degree - diploma, masters degree, or doctorate - in an engineering field, on which you earned outstanding marks.
You have amassed international practical experience through internships with global players in the industry or a maximum of three years of professional experience.
Ideally, you have been able to amass initial management experience through activities such involvement as social or volunteer projects.
You are an empathetic and persuasive communicator in both English and German, and you implement your ideas as part of a team and with an entrepreneurial spirit.
