What you can expect

We are regularly looking for working students to support our team. You will gain insights into the analysis of innovative industries and identify attractive business opportunities for BASF New Business GmbH. We work with colleagues across BASF as well as with major management consultancies and boutique consultancies.

  • You will support the project management office with preparation and documentation of meetings, workshops and documentation of project results.

  • To identify new business opportunities, you will work with various data sources including startup, patent, and market research databases.

  • You will also conduct data-driven analysis and generate insights on the startup and competitive landscape in certain segments or industries.

  • Furthermore you will assemble and visualize data for management presentations.

  • By bringing in your ideas on concept, analyses and realization you will take responsibility for your own work package.

What we expect

  • at least one year of studies in business administration, economics or a comparable subject area with above-average results

  • working knowledge of databases and analytical tools

  • ideally, knowledge in quantitative and semantic analysis

  • skills in MS Excel as well as PowerPoint

  • fluent in English and ideally German

  • presentation skills and reliable way of working within an international team
