In the Coatings Division, we are focused on the development, production and marketing of a variety of coating solutions -from applied surface technologies to automotive paints. What you can expect

  • Our new business unit Digital Business Solutions ECO EMEA is responsible for the commercialization of digital innovations and business models to complement our core business.

  • As Digital Pre-Sales Consultant EMEA you will form the bridge to our core automotive OEM coatings business and future digital business and thus break new ground for BASF Coatings GmbH.

  • You will leverage existing sales channels at OEMs and identify as well as establish new channels and new customer contacts.

  • In your role as Digital Pre-Sales Consultant you will work closely with digital product managers to develop business models, sales approaches and roll out plans for new products.

  • By validating minimum viable products (MVPs) and seeking customer feedback on product improvements as well as non-addressed needs you will support the development and evolution of our digital portfolio.

What we expect

  • Master's degree in IT or technology

  • At least two years of experience in digital start-ups, digital business development projects or venture building units

  • Enthusiasm for digital products and great interest in the automotive industry

  • Basic understanding of production and design processes

  • Team-minded and sales talent to drive and moderate the digital product sales process and to win new customers

  • Fluent in German and English
