Senior Recruiter (Bilingual) – Remote with required travel - monthly presence in Mississauga Head Office and minimum quarterly presence for in-person events, primarily within GTA and Quebec.

Where the Chemistry Happens…

The Senior Recruiter (Bilingual) will partner closely with the Canadian Talent Acquisition (TA) team, business partners, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that we source, engage, and hire top talent through full-cycle recruitment activities. They will also operate as a Subject-Matter Expert for our TA systems, processes and procedures, and will act as the first point of escalation on the Canadian TA team.

Formula for Success: You Will…

Partner with Hiring Managers & teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders to:

  • Support in the development and execution of the Canadian Talent Strategy, including fostering a sustainable pipeline of diverse internal and external talent across our Canadian segments & functions.

  • Understand the specific needs of each role and segment, and then leverage knowledge of the local competitive landscape and talent pool to develop a TA strategy for each role, including innovative and/or non-conventional strategies.

  • Create job postings based on job descriptions provided that are concise and engaging, lending themselves to the attraction of top talent in today’s fast-paced, highly competitive job market.

  • Identify and attend hiring events as deemed necessary to fill roles, enhance our brand recognition and help build a diverse pipeline of talent.

  • Screen and evaluate candidates for relevant skills, knowledge, and qualifications using best practices to ensure a diverse candidate slate is presented to the hiring team, and schedule and participate in interviews as requested.

  • Through proactive & professional communication, ensure that our hiring teams are well-prepared and informed at every stage of the talent acquisition process, and that candidates are engaged and provided feedback in a timely manner. This will ensure an excellent experience for all stakeholders throughout the entire TA process.

  • Develop new, and foster existing, relationships with third-party organizations, including post-secondary institutions and social engagement recipients, in alignment with, and advancement of, the Talent strategy.

  • Oversee the administrative components of the TA process to ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely manner. This includes req creation, offer generation, background checks, and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and timely process for all stakeholders.

  • Meet or exceed all TA KPIs, including among others, time-to-hire, submit-to-interview and interview-to-offer ratios, as well as candidate and hiring manager satisfaction targets.

  • Ensure equitable and inclusive practices are at the forefront of all steps in the TA process.

  • Initiate and/or support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects, as required.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • University or Diploma in Human Resources Management

  • Minimum of seven years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry

  • Demonstrated experience recruiting in the Québec market required

  • Experience in the recruitment of tech talent considered a strong asset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Canadian French

  • Strong interpersonal skills (influencing, negotiating, motivating) to work effectively with internal and external business partners and candidates

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking & Human Resource Information Systems; prior experience with Taleo considered an asset

  • Ability to excel independently and as part of a team

  • A self-starter with initiative and results/service orientation

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills

  • Strong attention-to-detail

  • Ability to travel as needed
