Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to ensure the required target performance achievement of a very large and complex asset base at our facility in Palmyra, MO.

This position resides within our Agricultural Products Division.

As a Site Asset Manager, you create chemistry by…

  • Developing and leading the Site Asset Management strategy to ensure that operational assets achieve target levels of equipment availability and performance through effective maintenance strategies, performance monitoring, bad actor management, and utility efficiency improvement, whilst maintaining technical maintenance costs within target levels.

  • Leading work to improve plant reliability through maintaining/developing critical equipment strategies, identifying/correcting bad actors, leading root cause failure analyses, assuring mechanical integrity requirements, and implementing preventive/predictive maintenance programs and other reliability tools.

  • Cooperating with and be the main contact for EHS events related to equipment related events and corrective measures. Ensuring that all asset-related activities are compliant with the company Responsible Care Management System and all statutory regulations, and that relevant asset management systems, procedures, and standards are followed to maintain compliance at all times.

  • Providing primary input within the technology to prepare the maintenance & capital budget, control spending through appropriate tracking, forecasting, and adjustments and be accountable for meeting budget goals with operations/maintenance/engineering teams.

  • Developing and monitoring key asset performance indicators and support/implement continuous improvements to enhance plant availability and maximize profitability.

  • Providing technical leadership and managerial support to the Operations and Maintenance teams for effective equipment performance diagnosis. You will also ensure that all required equipment technical documentation is in place and up to date.

  • Leading diverse working teams consisting of Technologists, Production, Reliability and Maintenance experts to achieve targets with a focus on enhancing Asset Effectiveness and reliability for the site assets while remaining a competent and motivated group that delivers strong performance and continuous improvement.

Your formula for success…

  • Bachelor`s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)

  • Engineering/operations experience

  • Firm commitment to workplace safety and understanding of best industry practices regarding maintenance and reliability activities and work practices

  • Demonstrated results-oriented mindset and strong implementation skills as well as strong troubleshooting and diagnosis capability.

  • Leadership skills

  • Excellent influencing and communication skills (both written and verbal)
