Where the Chemistry Happens:

This position will work in a team environment under the supervision of Regional Cleaner Tech Lead to develop new cleaner and pretreatment in support of the company’s innovation initiative for cleaning and pretreatment business.

Formula for Success:

  • Plan and conduct research activities as a project leader or under the guidance of group leader to achieve project goals.

  • Formulate and develop new cleaners, aerospace and non-destructive testing ( NDT) related products. Modify standard products for improved performance. Participate in field testing of new products.

  • Develop new testing procedures. Assist in technology transfer from other companies or divisions. Write specifications for raw materials and products.

  • Supports sales and customers by providing accurate and timely results and lab reports.

  • Devise manufacturing procedures and process

Ingredients for Success:

  • BS/MS/Ph.D. in Chemistry or related fields with 3+ years technical experience in industrial cleaning, aerospace, NDT, pretreatment, or coating. Knowledge of surfactants, polymers and surface chemistry is preferred.

  • Broad, hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and analytical instrument troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge of good laboratory practices and maintain a safe working environment.

  • A passion for continuously learning and applying new tools for developing new products

  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and works well in a fast paced group environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with co-workers of various technical levels and other business functions

  • Effective written and oral commutation skills
