This position requires a results-oriented professional who can work in a dynamic growing organization located in New Providence NJ. Reporting line to Head of Technology Cluster Region.
This position has the responsibility for the Regional Technology Lab Staff.
Formula for Success
Lead regional D&C labs disciplinarily
Key contact for respective regional stakeholders (e.g., Segments, Sales, Production)
Gather, collect, and distribute/share regional technology requirements and needs
Support the Head of Technology Cluster in budgeting process for HR, Invest and other operating expenses
Support R&D controlling in cost allocation for customization
Support the Global Tech Lead to compile and maintain R&D budget from projects
Optimize capacity utilization across Regional and Local D & C labs
Support the Global tech Lead in global harmonization / standardization of processes and products
Ensure knowledge retention and exchange
Ensure regular communication with regional & local TCS
Support for Process Customizing/Applications
Participate in regular communication with Global & other regional Tech Leads
Support the Global Tech Lead to develop the technology roadmap and project portfolio
Support projects / topics with regional and local D & C resources
Support project leads in project tracking & reporting according to R&D controlling guidelines & KPIs
Member of PSG for projects / topics
Ingredients for Success
A PhD in Chemistry or comparable work experience
A background withexperience in industrial cleaning, aerospace, NDT, pretreatment, or coating
Long lasting experience in specific technology > 3 years
Experience developing and coaching other employees
Experience leading a team
Excellent Verbal and Written communications skills
Intercultural Skills
Travel ability
