The Asset and Reliability Manager will lead the development of asset management plans for the Pasadena Industrial Petrochemicals Facilities. This includes strategies and actions to preserve and optimize infrastructure, ensure inspections are completed and acted upon, strategies and action plans for critical equipment and spare parts, and ownership and maintenance of reliability tools (critical equipment, roadmaps, etc.).

As a Asset and Reliability Manager - Pasadena, TX, you create chemistry by...

  • Developing and implementing the asset management and reliability strategy, including Mechanical Integrity, Preventive/Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM), Equipment Strategies, Equipment critically Analysis and addressing Bad Actors.

  • Generating a strategic reliability roadmap, including asset target pictures, and ensuring its execution at the Pasadena site.

  • Conducting reliability analyses such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and asset effectiveness to identify and mitigate reliability issues effectively.

  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to enhance overall asset reliability and maintenance processes. Drive EHS excellence and continuously improve reliability and maintenance systems to reduce costs.

  • Developing and managing budgets related to asset management and reliability, collaborating with Engineers and Cost Controllers to track, forecast, and manage maintenance and non-maintenance budgets.

  • Tracking, reporting, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to asset reliability, maintenance costs, and plant availability to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Developing department goals and objectives aligned with business objectives, monitoring performance, and holding team members accountable while providing coaching and support for performance improvement.

  • Leading Reliability Engineers and partnering with the Maintenance Manager to define turnaround intervals, scoping strategies, and the maintenance and reliability roadmap. Consulting with the Turnaround Manager on the requirements (cost, duration, schedule, scope) for planned and unplanned outages.

If you...

  • Hold a bachelors degree in engineering.

  • Have 10+ years of experience in operations and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

  • Process supervisory experience in an industrial setting (Strongly Preferred).
