What You'll Be Doing - Weare seeking a professional like you to provide expertise to the QualityOrganization by utilizing your 5 years of experience in manufacturing and laboratories.You will have accountability for managing the day-to-day manpower assignments,training, time sheet/payroll submittal, ISO documentation maintenance,oversight and approval of raw materials, in-process quality assessments, andapproval of products to be moved into packaging.
Youwill use SAP transactions and other tools to effectively control productquality through the manufacturing process.
Youwill lead the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the laboratoriesassociated with raw material, in-process, and finished product qualityspecifications, testing, and evaluation. You will prioritize technician assignments, payroll / overtime, andtactical decisions related to production quality in conjunction with othersupervisory staff as needed. Youwill utilize your technical knowledge regarding process controls to ensureproducts can achieve customer expectations.
Youwill act as primary person accountable for the decision to move or holdproduction materials from advancing to the next stage of operation.The ability to visually evaluate finished goods to determine if theyshould be packaged, reworked, or discarded is critical. You will beresponsible for escalating and initiating product quality investigations.
Youwill maintain department ISO/ GPM/ and RCMS documents and standards, aswell as support site initiatives through internal audit programs, qualityinvestigations, and product performance reviews.
Utilizingyour leadership skills, you will focus on coaching and developing teammembers, driving teamwork and accountability, and promoting housekeepingand safety standards within the Quality Control Laboratory.

Highschool diploma, experience working within a manufacturing environment andprevious supervisory experience
Leadershipskills that focus on coaching and developing team members, drivingteamwork and accountability, and promoting housekeeping and safetystandards
Technicalknowledge regarding process controls to ensure products can achievecustomer expectations
Generalknowledge of ISO/RCMS/GMP standards
Bachelor’sdegree is preferred
Experienceworking in a lab environment; familiarity with lab instrumentation andunderstanding of laboratory standard operating and safety procedures
Experiencein a unionized manufacturing environment
