BusinessDevelopment Manager - Automotive Refinish (1901824) – PA, NJ, and DE

Wherethe Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to serve as Business Development Manager, Cars Through the Door, in the New York market. We have big goals for our Automotive Refinish group and we’re working hard to become the top provider of automotive refinish coatings.

In this role, you will work with strategic collision center customers to develop their business growth and profitability. You will work across the BASF organization to support the development of new value-added tools/services, new business proposals, and strategic business plans to increase revenues and profits focused on strategic account growth and retention.

Travel for this role is expected to be approximately 75% or more within your assigned geographic territory.

Formulafor Success

  • Leveraging your education and business projectmanagement experience in the automotive collision or automotive refinishpaint industry, you will build relationships with strategic customers.

  • Your strong customer focus will be evident as youtravel to customer sites at least 75% of the time.

  • Your background in positioning businesssolutions for commercial success and your self-starter approach will beessential as you remain motivated by the challenge of successfully growingthe Automotive Refinish business.

  • Demonstrating your excellent interpersonaland problem-solving skills, you will manage conflict with the customer.
