Senior Product Development Manager (2101561)- Portland, OR

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for development of next generation product portfolio for optical temperature sensing. This can include but will not be limited to development of optical temperature measurement, optical instrumentation, fixed and portable devices. You will have the responsibility of oversight of the entire product development cycle from concept to commercial release.

Formula for Success

  • Leveraging your Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or another technical discipline with significant experience in the electronics industry, you will strive for development of next generation product portfolio for optical temperature sensing.

  • Your familiarity with Optical instrumentation/calibration will be essential as you work to identify the next generation products for our portfolio.

  • Relying on your experience in product development, engineering and or related discipline / field, you will be responsible for next generation optical products.

  • Your experience with sourcing from external vendors and strategic development partners will enable you to identify and source components to ensure successful development of next generation products in our pipeline.

  • Being an enthusiastic, organized, and self-motivated individual with the ability to take a vision and make it a reality, you will be responsible for driving your projects from ideation to commercialization.

  • Your demonstrated commercial product development and launch experience will serve you well as you tackle the challenges that come with new product launches and manufacturing scale up.

  • Applying your knowledge of optical design software, CAD, and Microsoft Office suite of products, you will leverage your skillsets to enhance the product development process.

  • Utilizing your experience with international supply chain, you will be responsible for establishing key relationships with vendors across the globe to ensure supply chain continuity.

  • Your manufacturing scale up experience will aid you as you launch new products moving from prototype to manufacturing plant. Your success will rely on your experience utilizing both internal manufacturing as well as contract manufacturing and understand the pros and cons of both.
