Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to achieve site goals in the areas of manufacturing technology advancement, productivity and quality improvements, off-spec elimination, non-conformance elimination, customer satisfaction, and cost reduction through the use of continuous improvement tools including Lean and Six-Sigma. You will facilitate plant wide process and business systems improvement projects in concert with the needs of the Business. You will facilitate the Operation Excellence process, including managing all interactions with NA OpX organization. You will also manage the Quality Control Laboratory for the site and complete analytical testing of mine samples, process intermediates, and final products. This role will require you to have experience working as a 6 Sigma Belt in manufacturing and/or analytical laboratory activities with the expectation of Black Belt certification.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your education in a technical discipline, preferably Engineering, and your experience in Quality Management, Operations, and/or Operations related support, you will design and implement quality and productivity improvement programs across all plant operations through the use of data analysis and benchmarking
Being analytical with industrial lab experience, you will complete analytical testing of mine assay samples, process intermediates, and final products.
Experience working as a 6 Sigma Belt in manufacturing and/or analytical laboratory activities with the expectation of Black Belt certification.
