We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our Agricultural Business in Canada.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Receive, process and follow up on customer orders and inquiries within SAP environment. Checks order parameters such as availability, specifications, pricing, transportation, etc, and directly initiates the necessary actions required to resolve any obstacles between the customer’s requirements and BASF’s ability to satisfy them

  • Manage work queues on a daily basis to ensure orders are fulfilled as required

  • Receives process and follow up on customer complaints or non-conformances in order to improve the quality of the relationship between the customer and BASF

  • Support decisions or programs developed by Marketing with regard to products under sales allocation or control

  • Ensures data integrity is maintained throughout order fulfillment process

  • Maintain key business tracker during the season to ensure accurate reflection of daily sales information and inventory availability to Accounts Team

  • May need to cover customer service issues during non-working hours or on holidays based upon specific business needs

  • Help to coordinate and support production arrangement of required products for Canada at the tolling facilities to meet BASF’s customer, sales and corporate objectives with high quality, timely and cost- effective production

  • Help to reconcile SAP system production data, maintain and verify system set up documentation and procedures during production season

  • Assist with and conduct Customer Service related UATs

  • Support Credit Management, Billing and Accounts Receivable Follow-up

  • Capture market intelligence from daily interaction with customers and share with the business as appropriate Customer Service representative

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • College or University Degree is an asset

  • Minimum 2 year experience in a similar role

  • Computer proficiency and ability to handle multiple PC applications is required. Experience in SAP will be preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes is an asset

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and planning skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to set priorities and make decisions in a dynamic work environment when required

  • Action oriented, with good problem solving, analytical and math skills

  • Knowledge of BASF Crop Protection and FCC portfolio preferred
