BASF's Professional Development Programs (PDPs) were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded current university students an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences. Participants will contribute to real-world rotational assignments within different domestic locations. They will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs. Participants also have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF's culture, values, and decision-makers.

Program Summary:

  • As a highly motivated upcoming graduate, you will participate in a 18-month cross-functional program with two rotations, one in marketing working in Research Triangle Park, NC; one in sales working with field sales teams and tech services.

  • Successfully engaging across the business throughout your rotations will expand your network, allow you to grow personally and professionally, and learn a variety of valuable skill sets.

  • Assignments can be located in a variety of locations throughout the U.S

  • Upon successful completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to join our Talent Pipeline for a role in field agronomic solutions sales.

Formula for Success:

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.

  • Seniors or recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sales, Agribusiness, Marketing, Agronomy, Biology, Plant Science, or related field

  • Graduation dae must fall between May 2021 - July 2022.

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship

  • Demonstrated leadership and academic achievement with a Minimum Major GPA of 3.0

  • Active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations. Previous internship/co-op experience a plus.

  • A commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S during and upon placeoff from the program

  • A valid driver's license
