We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager I - APN Affiliate Business Management to join the Agricultural Solutions business (AP) in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
Supply Chain Manager I - APN Affiliate Business Management (1801011) – RTP, NC
The Affiliate Business Lead will be part of the APN/P Regional Operations Department, reporting to the APN Demand Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the formulated product export business of AP North America, and the associated integration linking business strategy to supply chain processes. A core component will be working closely with affiliates and regional offices to ensure business and supply chain alignment. The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders of many different functions, backgrounds, and organizational levels will be a key to success. This role will also play a key role in supporting Supply Chain Excellence within operations, contributing to overall supply chain improvements for APN.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary Supply Chain liaison between APN functional groups within Supply Chain / Operations with 50 affiliates / 3 regional offices. Relay accurate and timely information on inquiries regarding product availability and forecast changes to help stakeholders make well-informed decision.
Define, lead or participate in supply chain excellence projects targeted to specific opportunities, such as Strategy 2025 initiatives, APN operations strategy initiatives, continuous improvement, and AP global initiatives – providing improved efficiency and effectiveness within the supply chain community.
Coach and develop staff of 4 to meet ongoing and changing business dynamics.
Analyze short, mid and long-term affiliate demands by collecting and monitoring business forecasts for APN-sourced finished goods. Develop APN's export financial forecast on a monthly basis.
Function as gatekeeper for new affiliate product requests and for assessments of fit within APN operations. Manage the product portfolio with global marketing groups for APN exported products.

Minimum 10 years business experience in commercial functions and/or Supply Chain
Strong business acumen
Strong leadership skills to manage and develop direct report(s) and teams
Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills to foster respect and teamwork within the Supply Chain, commercial teams and other internal/ external partners.
Strong internal and external customer focus, strategic thinker, able to negotiate between conflicting priorities and requests.
Ability to multi-task, project management skills, ability to deal with conflicting deadlines and priorities.
Excellent analytical and planning skills, with a keen understanding of the data needed to support decision making, and the entrepreneurial drive to make those decisions.
Comfortable with change management and able to identify process enhancement opportunities.

Degree in business, marketing, finance, international studies is a plus.
Experience working with international suppliers/customers is a plus.
Experience with ERP/SAP is a plus.
Strong Excel skills are a plus.
