Our Seed Technology Team is looking for positive and energetic Seed Technology Associates to join its team for the summer starting in May 2019. Application Deadline : November 18, 2018.

Formula for Success: You Will…

As a Seed Technology Associate , you will be involved in seed analysis trials within the local Seed Technology group evaluating canola hybrids and seed technologies with the goal of developing improved seed analysis techniques. You will be responsible for laboratory activities relating to hybrid evaluation including seed set up, germination and emergence trials, microscopy, data collection and analysis, as well as greenhouse and laboratory maintenance.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Strong laboratory competence attained through pursuing your degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, or another science college along with plant and seed physiology knowledge

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to work independently

  • Ability to be flexible and modify plans as situations arise minimizing impact on results

  • Interest in canola seed development and physiology

  • Ability to deliver results in pursuit of both individual and team goals
