Production Group Leader (1802273) – Savannah, GA
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are searching for a professional like you who will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for the oversight and leadership for the daily operations of the Savannah production facility. You will have direct management responsibility over 4-5 direct reports, including the Production Contact Supervisors who each have 9-10 Operators on their team. you will be responsible for maintaining staffing levels for the production team as well as disciplinary and performance issues within the team.
Formula For Success
Using your previous manufacturing leadership experience, you will provide oversight and leadership for daily operations, supervise and assign work to Contact Supervisor and coach the team to meet production and safety targets.
Leveraging your strong commitment to workplace safety, you will role model the Zero Incident Mindset and maintain safe operations in accordance with EHS regulations, EHS procedures, and company policy.
Engaging across the organization, you will collaborate with the Training Coordinator to ensure proper training for the Production Team.
Leveraging your previous chemical plant experience and your ability to meet business targets based on customer needs, you will hold the shifts accountable for maintaining housekeeping standards using 5S methodology.
Utilizing your past experience with and knowledge of business related finances, you will maintain budget for Production (Non-Maintenance WOs) and have responsibility for payroll issues.
Using your ability to evaluate and solve problems, you will lead investigations for any reported incidents in the Production area.
Your experience with continuous improvement and change management will drive the evaluation and implementation of new processes/procedures to ensure safe, efficient production operations.
