Responsibilities:

  • Follows all applicable area specific and plant procedures.

  • Maintains acceptable housekeeping standards in the work area, and follows all safety regulations.

  • Operates utilities including steam boilers, DI Water generators, fume scrubbers, trash incinerator, wastewater pretreatment area, and forklift.

  • Sample and test waste water for proper treatment.

  • Troubleshoot processes to maintain proper waste levels to sewer.

  • Must obtain a B-Level P/C License within 3 year.

  • Communicate safety issues and concerns through supervision.

  • Work with vendors to pick up waste, drums, pallets, scrap metal.

  • Load waste tankers for off-site disposal.

  • Unload bulk chemicals on an as needed basis.

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures and procedure manuals.

  • Writes routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization as required.

  • Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Solve practical problems and formulate action plan to implement solution. They need the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Ability to work well with others and communicate needs to team.

  • Good dependability and a positive attitude.

  • Participation in safety functions and activities.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…

Basic qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Two years of experience in industrial manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or utilizes operations environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B-Level P/C License

  • Previous experience or knowledge of PLCs

  • Experience in mechanical troubleshooting

  • Previous experience utilizing SAP
