Quality Assurance Coordinator - 1900619 - Sparks, GA

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is the gate-keeper and adminstratively supports the Quality and Product Assurance initiatives and programs along with compliance and reporting at a regional level.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting all work according to site safety procedures and supporting annual safety initiatives

  • Non-conformance management in SAP encompassing NCM creation, review, auditing, reporting, and training

  • Monthly reporting for Sparks QA metrics

  • Completion of SAP QM setup for new data entry and management of existing plans

  • Inventory release management including out-of-spec material management

  • Document control system management including clerical revisions to Product Assurance Plans, test methods, and SOPs adhering to record retention policies

  • Certificate of Analysis creation and management

  • Internal auditing of Quality Assurance procedures and records

  • Procurement of department supplies and expense reporting

  • Training employees in use of administrative systems such as SAP, SharePoint, Lotus Notes, and other BASF intranet-based systems

  • Accountable for administrative functions in the Quality Assurance department

  • Additional responsibilities include accountability for administrative functions conducted by the Quality Data Clerk. Based upon workload, the Coordinator is accountable for assessing priorities and completing additional administrative functions to meet business needs.

  • Data Entry into SAP

  • Raw Material and Finished product releases

  • Batch record filing and long-term storage

  • Event coordination for meetings including catering orders and expense reporting

  • Department communications

  • Support Exposure Reduction Program (safety)

Basic qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's, Bachelor or Trade/Technical School Education and/or 2 or more years industry work experience

Quality Assurance and/or Compliance experience - 1 or more years
