As Gatekeeper, we are seeking a professional to provide leadership and organization of maintenance activities to support site priorities at our White Stone, SC facility. As our Maintenance Gatekeeper, you will be responsible for prioritizing and gatekeeping the preventative maintenance and repair activities for our facility. This role supports Operations, Maintenance, and the business to meet the production plan and improve execution of maintenance work.

As a Gatekeeper, you create chemistry by...

  • Providing leadership and oversight in the execution of maintenance strategies; serve as the liaison between Maintenance, Engineering and Production teams to facilitate execution of maintenance work for routine, emergency, and break-in work, including priority setting, scheduling, and backlog management.

  • Managing maintenance schedule to include equipment upgrades, planned repairs, emergency work, project work, and preventative maintenance/inspection activities in alignment with business and operational priorities.

  • Following the maintenance work-flow process, adhering to specific requirements for breaking the Maintenance work schedule and assist with monitoring the correct work order close out process for backlog management

  • Working with Planners to review work notification backlog and ensure that jobs with highest priorities are planned in a timely fashion

  • Providing transparency/accuracy to backlog through regular backlog review meetings in alignment with the review procedure ensuring appropriate stakeholder participation

  • Reviewing Maintenance schedules to ensure they meet the needs of the Operations units and determining proper priority based upon resource availability and Maintenance schedules (final decision on priority)

  • Serving as Operations Liaison with Procurement for Operations work (Vacuum Trucks, Hydroblasting, etc.)

  • Managing the Avetta Process for Contractor Status for the site

  • Creating and maintaining the Maintenance schedule for the daily execution for Maintenance, Engineering and Production (BASF & Contractors)

  • Utilizing the BASF scheduling tool to create and communicate the Maint/Contractor schedule

  • Facilitating contractor onboarding, orientation and coordinating efforts of 3rd party contractors and purchased services

If you...

  • Possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent

  • Have substantial, relevant, hands-on experience in plant maintenance and/or operations. This includes involvement of scheduling maintenance work, manufacturing/production scheduling, proficiency in SAP (or other Computerized Maintenance System) and Microsoft Office.

  • Have strong manufacturing acumen, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities

  • Are experienced in chemical and/or petrochemical environment.
