Our team is searching for a Site Controller to support our Mauldin, Whitestone and Cincinnati sites (position will be based in South Carolina with some travel to the other sites).

As the Site Controller, you will be the first point of contact for financial information and guidance for the site leadership teams. You will ensure transparency for decision-making and be a trusted advisor providing financial and accounting guidance and solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for the accuracy of production orders and product costing, monitor site costs on a monthly basis as well as ensure compliance to all appropriate guidelines. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to interact with the broader finance community across the Americas Region.

As a Site Controller, you create chemistry by...

  • Serving as a key member of the Mauldin, Whitestone and Cincinnati site leadership teams and providingstrategic financial direction and support.

  • Creating and maintaining cost transparency by providing analyses as well as timely and accurate reporting for decision making and meaningful insight into site performance for the Site Leadership Teams and business stakeholders.

  • Demonstrating strong business acumen in directing the operating plan and forecast cycles for the sites, and performing month end closing responsibilities.

  • Performing a monthly fixed cost review and communicating changes in site costs, allocations, utility rates and other charge outs to the site’s business partners as well as providing ad hoc analyses.

  • Reporting the results of annual physical inventory observations, reviewing the discrepancies and posting adjustments.

  • Driving and supporting an environment of continuous improvement and ensuring that the site operates with clear visibility of its cost structure. You will identify opportunities to drive simplicity and automation, reduce complexity and support the realization of cost savings opportunities and efficiency gains.

  • Interpreting, communicating, and ensuring the application of internal and external financial policies.

  • Ensuring that the site is compliant with all required policies and procedures, and that potential risks are identified and controlled.

  • Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, you will develop efficiency improvements that will free resources from report development to data analysis and actionable.

Formula for Success...

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a financial discipline (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.).

  • Analyzelarge data and distill it into concise message for senior management level presentations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to maintain effective communication with all levels and management.

  • Ability and motivation to work independently to accomplish objectives and solve complex problems.

  • Preferably a minimum of 6+ years of experience in finance / accounting or controlling field, knowledge of product costing accounting preferred.

  • Strong computer skills: MS Office & SAP knowledge required, PowerBI knowledge preferred .
