What you can expect

Within our unit, you will be responsible for sales and results for the Construction Additives Non-Sag Dry Mortars segment.

  • You will monitor and evaluate market trends, the activities of competitors and new technologies for non-sag application segments and will derive future customer needs and requirements from this.

  • You will conceptualize marketing strategies and manage the marketing mix for construction additives for non-sag applications.

  • You will manage the Non-Sag Systems segment team in subject-specific terms, prepare the segment strategy and ensure implementation.

  • You will close gaps in the portfolio by suggesting and setting up project ideas and through R&D projects and the use of BASF technology pools.

  • You will develop the communication strategy and provide communication materials for customers, the sales team and distribution partners.

What we expect

  • After completing your degree in business administration, chemistry or construction engineering, you have amassed several years of professional experience, preferably in the area of construction chemicals.

  • You are familiar with the design of the marketing mix, price positioning of B2B products and solutions and generation and analysis of customer and market information.

  • You are distinguished by enthusiasm, highly developed teamwork skills and customer focus.

  • Conceptual thinking and the ability to connect technical and commercial issues are among your strengths.

  • You have already contributed to or managed a wide range of projects, and you present work results, concepts and products persuasively to customers, the management, sales employees and external distribution partners.

  • Alongside proficiency in MS Office (especially MS PowerPoint and Excel), you benefit from your excellent German and English language skills; experience using SAP R/3 and SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is a plus.
