What you can expect
As a Production Operator, you will be expected to manufacture products in line with current quality and safety standards, adhering to site rules and guidelines.
You will be responsible for manufacturing products using complex machinery.
You will also ensure that you work in a safe and ethical manner to achieve the plan.
You will ensure that the Production Area is kept to a high standard of cleanliness as an ongoing process.
You will manufacture various powder/wheat and liquid mixes, as well as minimise losses and spillages.
You will operate hand pallet/fork lift truck and conduct operation maintenance checks.
You will be an advocate of continuous improvement and assist in implementing continuous improvement activities on site.
You will have the ability to accurately record work on batch sheets and follow procedures accurately and safely.
You will draw samples to accurately represent the Batches produced, in accordance with the approved procedure, label and put away as per standard procedures.
You may be required to perform periodic checks on production quality and register details on Standard Form in line with Quality System.
You will perform your tasks in accordance with the Quality Standards and you will inform the Management of faults and unsafe incidents/acts.
What we expect
You will have a Level 2 NVQ in Performing Manufacturing Operations.
You will have a good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
You have at least 3 years' experience and knowledge of packing processes.
You will hold an Electric hand pallet/fork lift truck driver license.
You are a strong user of IT programs, including MS Office.
