We are seeking an entrepreneurial Fulfillment Coordinator to provide active supervision of the day-to-day activity of our brand new Fulfillment Center in Wixom, MI! You will collaborate with the Fulfillment Manager, sales, technical and operations teams to ensure customer retention, and growth of business, while also providing capacity to assist in coordinating prospecting activities. This is a hands on role where you will coordinate and participate directly in all Fulfillment Center activities related to customer order processing, inventory control, paint mixing production, purchasing, receiving, pick/pack, customer order delivery, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, housekeeping, health, and safety. In addition, you will support the location administratively ensuring assigned activity deadlines for center, sales and operations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your GED or higher (Bachelor's degree strongly preferred) and at least 3 years warehouse, distribution center, or operations related experience you will coordinate and supervise all day-to-day activities.
Based on your experience and success in leading and supervising people in a distribution environment you will coordinate new employee on-boarding/orientation to ensure a successful transition into their role in collaboration with Fulfillment Manager and external resources as applicable.
Combining your excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills you will control all risk management activities related to the security and safety of the center property, assets, vehicles, inventory, and personnel.
Utilizing your knowledge of MS Package tools and your ability to adapt to, and quickly learn, new IT systems you will ensure all operations and administrative timelines and deadlines are met as well as perform other administrative and value-added duties as assigned.
Based on your proven, self-driven work ethic you will ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable government regulations. In addition, you will initiate, lead and participate in location Lean Kaizen Events around cost-control / cost-savings / cost-avoidance and/or waste reduction / elimination opportunities.
Your ability to work effectively under pressure to meet time-sensitive concurrent deadlines, as well as your Inventory control experience, will serve you well as you will ensure all operations and administrative timelines and deadlines are met.
