We are looking for a Commercial Planning and Sales Manager to join our Monomers team in Wyandotte, MI.

As a Commercial Planning and Sales Manager you will be a key liaison between markets and global internal functions,responsiblefor aligning supply capabilities and end-use demand for Inorganic Chemicals in the USA/Canada region, manage direct and distribution accounts, execute business processes related to product data, delivery reliability, pricing andstrategicplanning, and drive simplification and digitalization initiatives.

As a Commercial Planning and Sales Manager, you create chemistry by...

  • Conducting inside sales responsibilities

  • Perform account management responsibilities for private label business, distribution customers and selected direct users.

  • Prepare and maintain account plans.

  • Process and investigate new leads.

  • Leading commercial planning activities

  • Coordinate product allocations and manage supply/demand balance for each product category in collaboration with Global Product Management weekly, monthly and annually.

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and supply chain planning process. Update Business Team and Customer Care on product availability. Create andcommunicatepriorities based on plant status.

  • Monitor open orders and identify gaps.Communicateaccordingly to various stakeholders. Perform analysis of overall reliability as needed.

  • Ensure availability of product stewardship documentation, both standard and customer-specific.

  • Execute pricing decisions in internal systems. Ensure accuracy of pricing implementation.

  • Manage interface with supply chain teams. Participate in specific supply chain activities and projects as needed.

  • Managing and improving business processes

  • Maintain and update tools, processes and business rules used by the extended Inorganics team (business and account managers, customer care, supply chain) including MS Teams channels, dashboards and portals.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for simplification, digitalization, and continuous improvement.

  • Present business and commercial updates to Leadership Teams as needed.

If you have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical fields.

  • 5+ years of experience in chemical sales or customer care (preferablysupportingboth distribution and end-users).

  • 3+ years of experience with commercial planning activities (incl. supply allocations and product management).

  • Customer-centric behavior with a sense of urgency and attention to details.

  • Excellent communicationskills, with experience working in dynamic and cross-functional environments.

  • Strong business acumen with anentrepreneurialattitude.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, Power BI, MS Teams, Salesforce and SAP.
