CoS Project Manager (1901037) – Wyandotte,MI

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to support the development and implementation of all CoS projects, usually between $5MM and $40MM that fall under the responsibility of the Wyandotte Hub. You will serve as the primary interface with Operations, Technology, EHS, Houston Large Capital Project group, to ensure continued alignment between OD, FTN/OW, LCP, Manufacturing Rep, and manage communication with level 3’s and level 4 executives and Steering Committee meetings. Additionally, you will work to effectively execute your capital plan for projects between $5MM and $40MM.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your working knowledge of chemical process equipment including but not limited to rotating equipment, heat transfer, solids handling, storage tanks and vessels. You will also showcase your working knowledge of process measurement and control instruments, as well as Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).

· Your proven experience and exposure to CoS Project Road Map will be essential as you collaborate with executives to set a clear alignment with objectives and scope.

· Your strong commitment to workplace safety will be evident as you ensure the application of all safety rules, assuring project personnel are aware of and employing safe working practices and promoting project safety programs and behaviors.

· Engaging across the organization, you will communicate effectively with top leadership and executives to set a clear alignment with objectives and scope and the strategic implementation plan.

· Leveraging your education in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and your professional experience as a Project Manager and discipline engineer, you will work with the business units from the initial study phase of the project to commissioning to ensure their business objectives are met.

· Your deep commitment to reliability of delivery on the CoS projects will be critical as you ensure compliance with all BASF policies, procedures, and technical standards.
