Customer Care Account Specialist (2201540) – Wyandotte, MI
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional to serve as the BASF primary point of contact for managing customers relations. You will communicate with confidence and react quickly to customers. Our Specialists are problem-solving solution providers for our customers and business.
Formula for Success
Leveraging your education and customer service/supply chain experience, you will effectively and efficiently manage our order to cash process activities, remove obstacles that may impact customer requirements, and BASF’s ability to satisfy them.
Applying your strong problem-solving skills, you will support training, troubleshooting and offer solutions to customers.
Your SAP proficiency including material availability (ATP), allocation and transportation planning processes will be essential. Further, experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel/Word) and web-based applications is strongly preferred.
Demonstrating your ability to act as a liaison for customers and external service providers, you will work with business, operations, planning, product managers and transportation partners to meet customer demand.
Exercising your ability to work well in a team environment, you will understand raise awareness to situations where a resolution requires cross functional coordination.
Your ability to set priorities and manage time in a dynamic work environment will be critical as you effectively manage more complex customers and timelines as you develop in role.
Knowledge of Non-Conformance Management (NCM) process will be a valued asset including investigation and reporting.
Your excellent oral and written communication skills will serve our business well to ensure internal and external partners receive transparent and timely communications.
