Where the Chemistry Happens...

We are seeking a professional like you to join our Nutrition and Health division, supporting the Global Quality & Regulatory Compliance team at our Wyandotte, MI site. In this role, you will provide support of quality strategy concept feasibility & full implementation (e.g., plant, products, service levels) within the Wolverine project and beyond.

As a QA Manager (Wyandotte, MI), you create chemistry by...

  • Developing and implementing robust quality systems, policies, and procedures, as well as training personnel on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to create a pharma mindset, conducting self-inspections, and coordinating internal and external site audits to ensure compliance.

  • Creating and approving plans and records related to qualification, calibration, and validation, reviewing and approving specifications and master production instructions.

  • Creating and approving procedures that impact product quality, supporting and approving MoCs related to the GMP process, generating stability data for relevant products, and support creating DMF documents.

  • Supporting process development, establishing a system for releasing or rejecting raw materials and products, reviewing and approving batch production and laboratory control records, managing deviations and NCs, and performing annual product quality reviews.

  • Being responsible for qualification of the service provider network for release i.e., the Tarrytown lab (cell culture), packaging material supplier, warehouse if necessary, and stability study vendor if necessary.

Your formula for success...

  • Having a bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in quality assurance principles and practices.

  • Experience in a leadership position and knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards is also preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation, are essential for success in this role.
