We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to function out of our Wyandotte, MI location.
Technical Sales Representative (1801447) – Wyandotte, MI
Formula for Success: You Will…
Identify and develop business outside of sport shoe applications.
Grow market share in targeted segments/applications.
Manages profitable business growth in North America for Infinergy®.
Drive and support the expansion and multiplication of new product/applications/processes concepts for Infinergy® in North America.
Manages sales performance of E-TPU business (e.g., net sales, CM1).
Serve as the interface to the market and customers.
Identify and prioritize target customers.
Steer the exploration, identification, and development of new businesses.
Grow the E-TPU business outside of sport shoe applications.
Closely collaborate with consumers and other Industries.
Identify and begin collaborations with molders for steam-molding processing.
Define market attractiveness for new products.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science or related technical discipline. Advanced degree is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience and understanding of sales and account management.
Familiar with EPS (Expanded polystyrene) or EPP (Expanded polypropylene) processing technology (e.g., steam molding, adhesive) desired.
Experience and knowledge in tool design for steam chest mold on top of EPS or EPP processing is an added advantage.
Strategic thinking with willingness to gain familiarity with the business.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Interface with domestic and global colleagues.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Motivated self-starter, independent, ability to work under minimum supervision.
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
